Coming Soon at the Winscombe Community Centre

WiNSpace – Now is the Time

We have come such a long way and are now working hard to sign building contracts in July, for construction to start in the Autumn. We have clear sight on £1.7m funding.

We now need the final £300,000 to ensure a fully functioning centre is delivered. Is this something you can help us towards?

Any amount you, your business or employer can donate, will help complete the brand-new community building to replace the ‘temporary’ classrooms.

Meeting our £2,000,000 target will allow us to create not just a building but a special place, which will serve generations to come and honour those who had the vision to start the community centre 45 year ago.

It is over 43 years since the old Winscombe School was taken over by a newly founded Community Association and developed to become Winscombe Community Centre. This is a major local asset which continues to serve the community well, but there is always a need to look to the future so we are looking at options to move forward with the possible redevelopment of the community buildings. This project as been called WiNSPACE.

And don’t forget there’s a Thursday Market every week
